Angelina Jolie is all set to direct her next project. The upcoming movie will be another true-life drama like her previous movies.

Jolie will direct Skydance Productions’'Africa', which is a biopic on paleo-archaeologist Richard Leakey and his battle to save the elephant.

Eric Roth has written the script for the project, which is being described as a “sweeping epic”.

The story centres on Africa-born Leakey, who is a fossil hunter and helped find bones of early man. However he later focused on combating the menace of elephant and rhino poaching.

David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance are producing, along with Jon Peters, as well as Angelina Jolie.

Cinematographer Roger Deakins will reteam with Jolie for 'Africa'. The duo had worked together on 'Unbroken'.

At present Jolie is directing the drama By the Sea, which she wrote. She is also producing the project, which stars Brad Pitt, Melanie Laurent and Niels Arestrup.

Jolie's film 'Unbroken', another biopic on World War II POW survivor Louis Zamperini, will release this Christmas Day.
