The Election Commission (EC) is declaring the assembly election results today of Telangana, Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Mizoram.
The polling in the five states took place over the past couple of months. The exit poll results declared recently gave an edge to the Congress in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chattisgarh.
Telangana Rashtra Samithi is set to win the Telangana election results while Mizo National Front is looking to expand their political footprint in Mizoram, according to the exit poll results.
The counting of votes began at 8 a.m. today.
