Indian Air Force Strikes Back: How Politicians Reacted

Early this morning Indian Air Force carried out Air strikes at terror camps across Line of Control. This operations comes after terror attack in Pulwama on February 14.

Foreign Minister Vijay Gokhale confirmed the operation in press brief

He said, “Credible intelligence was received that JeM was attempting another suicide terror attack in various parts of the country, and the fidayeen jihadis were being trained for this purpose. In the face of imminent danger, a preemptive strike became absolutely necessary.”

“In an intelligence led operation in the early hours of today, India struck the biggest training camp of JeM in Balakot. In this operation, a very large number of JeM terrorists, trainers, senior commanders and groups of jihadis who were being trained for fidayeen action were eliminated. This facility at Balakot was headed by MAULANA YOUSUF AZHAR (alias USTAD GHOURI), the brother-in-law of MASOOD AZHAR, Chief of JeM,”he further added.

Political Leaders across parties stands united and congratulated Indian Air Force Operation.

West Bengal CM, Mamata Banerjee said, “Let us cherish the ‘idea of India’ for which our freedom fighters laid down their lives. Our people and our great institutions must strive to remain “independent”, in the true sense of the word”

Congress President, Rahul Gandhi said, “I salute the pilots of the IAF”

Delhi CM, Arvind Kejriwal said, “I salute the bravery of Indian Air Force pilots who have made us proud by striking terror targets in Pakistan.”

Former Uttar Pradesh CM, Akhilesh Yadav said, “I salute the Indian Air Force and indeed all our Armed Forces. Congratulations Indian Air Force.”

BSP Chief Mayawati,said, “IAF strike destroying terrorist camps across LoC is welcome action. Salute & respect to their bravery. PM Modi gave free hand to Army only after Pulwama attack. Had it been earlier Pathankot, Uri & Pulwama like tragedy & loss of precious lives of jawans could have been averted.”

Sharad Yadav said, “I salute our Airforce for their strike today on d camps of terrorists. Terrorists have no caste & religion. It should have been done much earlier.”

RJD leader Tejashwi yadav said, “We salute bravery of our pilots and Air Force. We are blessed and proud of our forces. Jai Hind.”

Andhra Pradesh CM, N.ChandraBabu Naidu said, “ Hail the efforts of Indian Air Force.”

Punjab CM , Capt. Amarinder Singh said, “Great job by the Indian Air Force The Air Strikes have sent the much needed signal to Pakistan and the terrorists it’s harbouring - don’t think you can get away with acts like the Pulwama Attack. Bravo to the IAF men and my full support for the action.”

Karnataka CM, HD Kumaraswamy said, “My Salute to the Indian Airforce. Jai Jawan. Jai Hind.”

Rajinikanth said, “ BRAVO INDIA”

Kamal Hassan said, “Our 12 return safely home after wreaking havoc on terrorist camps in Pakistan. India is proud of its heroes. I salute their valour.”

Rajasthan CM, Ashok Gehlot said, “Congratulations to Indian Air Force pilots. I Salute your bravery. The Nation is proud of you. Jai Hind.”
