Hillary Clinton campaign slams Trump for mocking Indian accent

Republican frontrunner Donald Trump was slammed by Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign for mocking a worker of Indian call center, during an election rally. Clinton's campaign said it shows disrespect towards the community and is reflective of his divisive rhetoric.

The Clinton Campaign chairman John Podesta said, "Donald Trump mocking Indian workers is just typical of his disrespect that he has shown to groups across the spectrum,"

"He has run a campaign of bigotry and division. I think that's quite dangerous for the country when you think about the fact that you need friends, allies. The kind of campaign he is running breeds disrespect across the globe and breeds division and danger here at home," Podesta aid to reporters in Germantown, Maryland, following the formal launch of 'Indian- Americans for Hillary'. It was an effort made by the community to rally behind Hillary Clinton.

The reaction from Podesta is to apparent use of a fake Indian accent by Trump's to mock a call center representative in India. This happened earlier this week, during a campaign rally in Delaware.

According to the real estate tycoon, he called up his credit card company to learn if the customer support is US based or overseas. At the same time, Trump described India as a great place and asserted that he is not angry with Indian leaders.
