If you want to make a decision but are unsure of the consequences, actor Govinda is the inspiration. The actor grew up in poverty, witnessing the family’s struggle. Now he is one of the well known and respected actors in Bollywood from 1986-2000.

The actor made his film debut in 1986. Although he was not the conventional “good looking” star, his looks did not stop him. He delivered a multiple hit movies across the Bollywood horizon. More than him delivering hits in Bollywood, his struggle was the instrument that shaped the world view and perspective on struggle to success, or more importantly- no pain no gain.

The actor turned 57 on Monday.

Govinda was born to an actor couple. His father Arun Ahuja was the actor t more than 40 films before he quit the industry. His mother, Nirmala Devi was a well known classical singer and actor. However, after his father’s career took a downward spiral, his family was forced to live in poverty.

Govinda lived in a house with his parents along with 4 sisters, it was a hard responsibility to take over.

Initially, Govinda- a commerce graduate went in search of a job. He went for an interview at the Taj Mahal hotel for a job of the steward. However, he did not get the job because he could not speak English.

Seeing after his parents struggle and this struggle gradually increasing over as days go by, And yet, at the age of 22, he made his first debut in Bollywood. After this debut, his Bollywood career spiraled up.

Many actors and Bollywood personnel took to twitter and Instagram to wish the legend a happy birthday and respect his for paving the path for everyone in Bollywood.
