Media reports indicate that former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf (72) is hospitalized after suffering from a minor heart attack. Following a sudden faint at home, he was admitted to PNS Shifa Hospital in Karachi. He even had health issues earlier. Due to a heart problem, Musharraf was admitted in a hospital in Rawalpindi in 2014.

Immediately aftermath of the Pathankot attack, Musharraf had given a call to India asking not to overreact. He said that both the countries were victims of extremism and accused New Delhi of creating pressure on Islamabad over terrorism.

In an interview to a news channel of Pakistan, Musharraf said that terrorism has its prevalence in both India as well as Pakistan due to which Pathankot attack like incidents would keep happening.

Musharraf said, “Terrorism is prevalent in both India and Pakistan. We are also victims of the same, so we should not overreact to what happened in Pathankot. Yes, of course we want to control such incidents, but one should get hyper over such incidents.”
