Can't be a better Christmas gift for all Liverpool fans – Arsenal vs Chelsea, and the former trouncing the later?
Bad tackles, penalty appeals, crossbars hit, but no goals and Liverpool top the league while Tim Sherwood takes over at Spurs.
The result means Liverpool will top the table at Christmas - ahead of the Gunners on goal difference - as two teams with title pretensions of their own produced a spectacle almost devoid of entertainment and quality.

Frank Lampard came closest to breaking the deadlock when he hit the woodwork in the first half, while Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud wasted two good opportunities late on to claim the win that would have seen the Gunners leapfrog Liverpool.
Heartbroken by the defeat, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said: "They locked the game up and waited for a counter attacking chance. It took us a while to get into our flow. I thought always in the final part of the game we would win it but when we had the chances we could not take them. It was a very intense game but a locked game.I think it was a penalty on Walcott, 100 per cent,. After that we played with great focus and concentration but in the second half we couldn't get the goal we deserved."
