Powerstar Pawan Kalyan took a break from films for almost two years. The actor is making his comeback with Vakeel Saab, a social drama and the film is the remake of Bollywood blockbuster film Pink. Sriram Venu is the director and the shoot of the film is nearing completion. With the Telangana government granting permissions for the film shoots, the makers wanted to release Vakeel Saab for Dasara this year.

As per the latest news, Vakeel Saab will now release during Sankranthi 2021 and not before that. The makers are worried about the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the recent weeks and they felt that it would not be a good decision to release Vakeel Saab for Dasara. Shruti Haasan, Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Prakash Raj will be seen in other lead roles. Thaman is composing the tunes and Dil Raju, Boney Kapoor are the producers.
