King Nagarjuna is busy with several projects and the veteran actor along with his elder son Naga Chaitanya are in plans to team up together for a family entertainer titled Bangarraju. The movie is said to be the prequel for Nag's super hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana which is said to be the costliest film in his career. Kalyan Krishna Kurasala will direct Bangarraju and the movie got its official launch with a pooja ceremony in Annapurna Studios today. The regular shoot of the film starts next week.

Nagarjuna, Ramya Krishna, Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty are the lead actors in Bangarraju and the movie is planned on a budget of Rs 40 crores. A special house set is constructed in Annapurna Studios for the shoot. Anup Rubens is the music composer and Yuvaraj is the cinematographer. Nagarjuna himself is producing Bangarraju on Annapurna Studios banner. Zee Studios acquired the entire rights of the film for a record price. The film is expected to release early next year.
