Pushpa: The Rise happens to be one of the biggest hits in Allu Arjun's career and the actor is completely focused on the sequel that is titled Pushpa: The Rule. The film will be directed by Sukumar and the final script of Pushpa: The Rule is locked recently. The pre-production work commenced recently and the shoot starts in the third week of August. Rashmika is the heroine and Devi Sri Prasad is working on the tunes for Pushpa: The Rule. Fahadh Faasil, Sunil and Anasuya will be seen in other important roles in this action entertainer.

Pushpa: The Rule will be made on a lavish budget and it is said to be Rs 200 crores. A major portion of Pushpa: The Rule will be shot in the forests of Maredumilli and Kerala. The locations are locked. Mythri Movie Makers allocated a huge budget for the film and Allu Arjun, Sukumar have hiked their remuneration after the super success of Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun loved the final script and he asked Sukumar to go ahead with the shooting schedules. Allu Arjun is yet to sign his next and he will announce his next film only after the release of Pushpa: The Rule. The film is expected to release post summer next year.
