Russian President Vladimir Putin in India for an annual summit and had met Indian Premier Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in Delhi. After this Crucial meet Modi and Putin jointly addressed a press conference.

Putin felt grateful to Indian colleagues and Indian Friends for our Hospitality and Receiving. Putin said that they (Russia) are working for 20 nuclear power plants in India and supported us for energy generation through nuclear energy. And said both the nations want to use Nuclear Energy for peaceful purposes.

And connoted that Russia’s Foreign policy agenda is to have strong ties with India forever. And they may discuss about the Rough diamonds supply as Russia is world’s top producer and India is one of the most importing nations. India, Russia signed 16 agreements in areas of armed forces training, nuclear energy, oil exploration, infrastructure, medical research.

After the sanctions on Russia over Crimean uncertainty issue, India became the best exporting nation for them. And our revenue is also gone high.

After the meet Modi Tweeted ” Times have changed, our friendship has not. Now, we want to take this relation to the next level & this visit is a step in that direction”

India is maintaining good bilateral relations with Russia every time and maintaining distance in some particular cases also, which can disturb our relationship with west, mainly with the USA.
