Indian Covid tally crosses 25 million mark

A total number of 2,63,533 new cases for coronavirus are reported in the last 24 hours in India. The new cases are witnessing a steep decline because of the lockdown imposed in most of the Indian states. There are 4,22,436 recoveries in the country in the last 24 hours which is a good factor. 4329 people passed away in the country and the total tally of deaths in India now stands at 2,78,719. The total number of cases in the country are said to be 2,78,719 and the total number of discharges are said to be 2,15,96,512. There are 33,53,765 active cases for coronavirus in the country as of today as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The total number of people who took up the vaccination for coronavirus reached 18,44,53,149.

The total number of coronavirus cases crossed 25 million mark in the country. Karnataka happens to be the biggest contributor for new cases with 38,603 cases followed by Tamil Nadu with 33,075 cases. Maharashtra witnessed a decent decline with 26,616 new cases reported. The Indian government will add 14 regional languages to the portal of CoWIN for booking the vaccination slots. The Indian Medical Association (IMA) said that over 270 doctors passed away due to coronavirus in the country after the second wave started. American President Joe Biden announced that USA will be sending 20 million doses of coronavirus vaccines before the end of June. The global cases of coronavirus reached 16,42,72,595 and the number of recoveries reached 14,29,91,373. The total number of global deaths are at 34,04,279.
