Fourth Wave of Coronavirus to hit the Nation in June

The third wave of the coronavirus is almost gone in the country and the impact is quite less. A total number of 4184 new cases are reported in the country in the past 24 hours and the total cases registered in the country are said to be 4,29,80,067. The total recoveries in India are 4,24,20,120. A team of researchers from IIT Kanpur predicts that the fourth wave of coronavirus is likely to hit the country in June. Top Virologist Dr T Jacob John said that there are fair chances of the wave hitting the country in June. He said tha the third wave of the pandemic ended in the country.

Some of the analysts say that there would be no chance of the fourth wave of the coronavirus. The predictions say that the severity in the fourth wave would be quite low because of the mass vaccination. Most of the countries completed the vaccination drive for the majority of the population. Some of the experts even said that the virus and the variants have turned weak and the hospitality, death rate will be very less. As the new variants are behaving differently, there are also predictions that the fourth wave may occur and the variant behaves quite differently. Indian Council for Medical Research's Centre of Advanced Research in Virology said that the third wave ended in the nation.
