Rs 3.5 Crore Hawala Money Seized In Hyderabad: Six Arrested

The Hyderabad cops seized Rs 3.5 crores unaccounted and hawala cash that is worth Rs 3.5 crores which is suspected to be transported to Munugode before the Assembly bypoll in the constituency. Six people have been detained in relation with the cash seize and the incident took place near Tankbund in Hyderabad. All the arrested have been handed over to Gandhinagar police station and a case was registered. The cops are investigating the matter. Six people who are traveling in two cars with huge amount of cash were seized by the Task Force Team of the Commissioner near Hotel Marriott in Hyderabad last night. The people could not produce any account or documents for the unaccounted cash. It is predicted to be taken to Munugode to distribute before the polls.

From the past two weeks, the Hyderabad cops have seized unaccounted cash worth Rs 8 crores and arrested various people in relation with these incidents. Meerut-based scrap dealer was caught with Rs 1.24 crores cash on September 29th by the Task Force team. The cash was handed over to the Humayun Nagar police station as the businessman could not produce any documents. The Hyderabad cops also seized Rs 79.25 lakhs on October 7th and four people have been arrested in relation with this incident. This was traced when the vehicles are checked by the Chandrayangutta cops. Some of them have been caught exchanging the bags that contained cash near the Mahabubnagar junction. Two people are caught near Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan in Jubilee Hills with a cash of Rs 2,49,79,000 on October 8th and the cops traced it as hawala operation of Botchu Ramu.
