As three New Delhi Warriors get into the ring to contend for the most pampered Assembly constituencies in the country, the big question in every voter's mind is who will clean sweep the Delhi Assembly Election 2013?

Presiding over Delhi's 'hot seat' for three consecutive terms now, the 75-year-old Sheila Dikshit is a clear favorite with the older generation who are happy with her paani-bijli-sadak efforts. However, things ain't the same any more for the aging politician.

This time, Mrs Dikshit has got a real fight on her hands with two mighty opponents and both chief ministerial aspirants contesting for the top seat.

In previous polls, Dikshit had outdone her Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) foes by huge margins. However, with Arvind Kejriwal in the scene now, igniting young minds with his call for corruption free country, the latest Delhi poll won't be a cakewalk victory for Sheila Dikshit.

Meanwhile, if BJP's contender Vijender Gupta cinches the poll, then it would only fortify Narendra Modi-led BJP's stand in the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections.

“The Battle for New Delhi will thus have two big losers, and in that sense, is a microcosm of the larger contest for the Assembly. The contest is triangular, and will be close,” writes a leading news journal.

Vihender Gupta is from Old Delhi, but is a strong candidate who has brought key party figures to campaign for him in the constituency.

Aam Aadmi Kejriwal, with his clean image, is a clear favorite among young voters, following the Jan Lokpal movement.

"My parents will vote for Congress or BJP as they have been voting all these years but I am going to vote for Kejriwal. This man is honest and there is a hope that he will bring some changes. I have tried to convince my parents and maybe by tomorrow morning they change their decision and vote for AAP," said Rishabh Awasthi, a resident of Laxmi Bai Nagar.

"In our area things are comfortable. We have electricity, water and roads and there is not much incentive in changing my leader. The chief minister has done a good job and I will vote for her only," said a resident from Kalibari area.

"I will vote for BJP as I have been doing all these years. Congress is full of corruption and I want to get rid of it. Dikshit has not done much for our area and we still face water and electricity shortage," said Rashmi, a slum resident.

With old forces taking on new in this Delhi poll, it would be interesting to watch where Indian politics is headed to?
