Actress Alia Bhatt has stated that she shares a strong bond with actress-director Revathi after working together in 2 States. Alia and Revathi played the role of daughter and mother in the upcoming film.

Revathi is playing the role of Alia's mother in '2 States'.

The 'Highway' actress said that towards the end of the film, she developed a bond with the senior actress which was akin to mother-daughter relationship.

Alia also said that while working with Revathi she grew into a good actress. The 'Student of the Year' actress felt the warmth when Revathi touched her face as a mother during the shooting of '2 States'.

Two-film old Alia Bhatt, while praising Revathi, said that the senior actress was able to bring out the emotions in her. She is a fantastic actress who brings emotions into the scene along with the dialogues, added Alia.

'2 States', starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor, is an adaptation of a book by Chetan Bagat which goes by the same name.
