Iconic temples in India

Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu and Kashmir is one of the major pilgrimage centres of Hindu devotees in India and abroad. The temple of Mata Vaishno Devi is located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta. Devotees have to trek a distance of nearly 12 km from the base camp at Katra to reach the holy shrine.
