Chief Editor Rahul Shivshankar Out From Times Now

The Chief Editor of Times Now and primetime new anchor Rahul Shivashankar quit the channel, he submitted his resignation to the channel on Tuesday. Navika Kumar, Group Editor is under charge with the immediate effect.

Rahul Shivshankar has quit all the Whatsapp groups of the channel and he also updated his Twitter bio as “editor in chief Times now, 2016 to 2023”. Channel's human resource department has written an email to the staff about the shivashankar’s resignation, they wrote, “Shivashankar has decided to part ways with the network. With immediate effect the operations of the channel will be under the charge of Navika Kumar, group editor”.

Shivshankar joined Times Now in the year 2005 when Arnab Goswami was the Editor in chief. But later moved from the group. Again after Arnab’s moving out to start his own channel “Republic World”, Shivshankar returned back to Times Now in 2016 after resigning from NewsX. With more than 20 years of experience, Shivshankar is one of the key primetime reporters for Times Now. He also worked for Headlines Today and India Today. As per sources, He is planning to start his own channel or independent Youtube channel.
