Auto Care Mechanic , Burtonsville MD

Description

In Columbia, Auto Care Mechanic handles suspension and steering repair at homes, workplaces and parking lots. Strut mounts and bushings are inspected alongside the struts themselves, because a worn mount can cause the same clunk as a failed strut. Struts, shocks, ball joints, tie rod ends, sway bar links and control arm bushings are among the parts replaced on-site. A hum that rises with speed often comes from a failing wheel bearing, while a clicking sound on tight turns points to a worn CV axle. Columbia's village centers and office parks have large surface lots, which suit a technician working on a car while the owner is at work. The team explains what is failing and why before any work begins, without pushing replacements the car does not need. Beyond this work, the same technicians take care of motorcycle repair and pre-purchase inspections. Technicians also travel to Burtonsville, Laurel and Jessup.
