Boxer Vijender Singh is all set to live his dream. The lord of the rings is all set to make his big Bollywood debut, with none other than mega entertainer Akshay Kumar in a film called 'Fugly'.
Slated for release in May, for the young the boxer, it's nothing less than dream come true.
"This certainly is a big thing. I have grown up watching Akshay's films. And now that he the producer of my debut film, it's definitely a dream come true," an elated Vijender said a leading daily.
Besides Bollywood box-office, the boxer has his eyes set on the 58th Bocskai Istvan Memorial International championships too.
"My target is to focus on the job at hand, and that's why I am focusing more on international events. The only target is to get more and more match practice," Vijender pointed out.
With the International Boxing Federation (AIBA) suspending the Indian Boxing Boxing Federation (IBF), the boxers need to represent under the AIBA flag in any tournaments, and Vijender says it's time the matter gets resolved.
"It's always an honour to participate under India flag. But then, somethings are not in our hands. We will at least be able to take part in the meet. Hopefully, AIBA will lift the suspension soon," Vijender felt.
