Singer-composer Yo Yo Honey Singh may have delivered a chartbuster in song "Aata majhi satakli" for ‘Singham Returns’ but he is not happy with his work. The rapper was given a very short notice to create the hit song, according to reports.
Honey Singh, apparently, had to rush through to deliver the song "Aata majhi satakli" for the Rohit Shetty hit film ‘Singham Returns’.
The singer-composer had to rustle up the song "Aata majhi satakli" in 30 minutes. Honey Singh feels that quick work implies "compromising with quality", so in future he wants to put his efforts into durable compositions.
Although he had no time, he couldn't say no to the 'Singham Returns' number, said Honey Singh, who feels that Bollywood heroes and producers think he can deliver a song at the shortest notice. Apparently, Honey was told, 'Kuch bhi kar do, kuch bhi nikaal lo.'
Honey says he composed the 'Singham Returns' track in half an hour. But he's not happy with the way it was done as it means compromising with work quality.
But the song "Aata majhi satakli" proved to be a chartbuster, garnering millions of hits.
Honey Singh created the chartbuster song in half an hour and travelled to Mumbai for a day to shoot the video with Kareena Kapoor, Ajay Devgn and the children and flew back to London the same day. He feels durable work cannot be donr in this way.
The rapper says he was given ample time to create Shah Rukh Khan's "Lungi dance" in "Chennai Express" and for Akshay Kumar's "Party all night" for film "Boss".
Though Honey feels flattered by his popularity and demand in Bollywood, but he does not want to compromise on the quality of work.
