The two may make a pair of an odd couple on the big screen, but that didn't stop Shahid Kapoor to go to Deepika in an event and say that he wants to with her someday.

It came into light when at an event, Shahid seated beside Deppy in the front row of the venue. Deepika took chance to appreciate Shahid on his performance in Haider.  Immediately Shaid stood P and expressed his Desire of working with Deepika. 

“Being friendly and greeting each other quite common but Shahid was very genuine in expressing his desire to work with Deepika, sources said. It is also said that both actors are seemed to get on very well indeed. Later Shahid was feeling devastated because of Deepika’s height.

According to a source, Shahid admires Deepika as an actor. We Hope a writer come up with a good script that give them the chance to work together”.
