The comeback of the Tata Sierra has resulted in an incredible reaction from the market, with the SUV receiving over 70,000 confirmed bookings in just the first 24 hours after reservations were opened. Additionally, Tata Motors has announced that another 135,000 potential customers have already customized their desired models and are in the midst of finalizing their bookings. This achievement is even more impressive considering that the bookings started only yesterday, and the Sierra has quickly emerged as one of Tata’s most successful launches in recent times. Positioned above the Curvv in the brand’s offerings, the Sierra was launched in late November 2025, with prices ranging from Rs. 11.49 lakh to Rs. 21.49 lakh (excluding taxes). Customers can secure their SUV by paying a reservation fee of Rs. 21,000 at authorized dealerships or online. Deliveries are set to start from January 15, 2026. Tata has also put significant effort into offering a variety of variants. The Sierra comes in Smart+, Pure, Pure+, Adventure, Adventure+, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ options.

This SUV is constructed on Tata’s new ARGOS platform, engineered to accommodate various powertrain alternatives along with advanced technology and safety features. The Sierra merges classic design elements with contemporary styling. Its upright posture and large windows pay homage to the original design, while the sharp LED headlights, wide light bars, and dual-tone alloy wheels bring it into the modern era of 2026. Under the hood, customers can choose from three engine options. The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 106 PS and 145 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol engine increases output to 160 PS and 255 Nm. There is also a 1.5-litre diesel engine, providing 120 PS and up to 280 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual, a torque converter automatic, and a dual-clutch automatic, depending on the engine. Inside, it features a three-screen dashboard, which includes a digital instrument panel, a central display for infotainment, and a separate screen for passengers. Amenities include a JBL sound system with a soundbar mounted on the dashboard, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, a power-operated tailgate, Level 2 ADAS, and automatic climate control, among others.
