Today will go down in the history as a black day for the world of fashion!

Style icon, former model, renowned designer and girlfriend of Mick Jagger, L'Wren Scott is no more. She was found dead in her posh Manhattan apartment on March 17, 2014.

The 49-year-old designer, whose long list of high-profile clientele included names like Madonna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Michelle Obama, and Nicole Kidman, was found hanging by the ceiling with a scarf inside her eighth floor apartment on 11th Avenue in the Big Apple.

The Rolling Stones frontman is "completely shocked and devastated" by the sudden loss.

Just last month, Scott canceled her London Fashion Week show owing to production problems.

The 6'4 stunner was brought by her adoptive in Roy, Utah. She relocated to California in the early 1990s and made her mark in the fashion industry, first as a model and then a designer.

She has collaborated with big wigs like Herb Ritts, Helmut Newton, Karl Lagerfeld and Mario Sorrenti .
