Kimye - the blendword for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West - quite had a Tinseltown fairytale romance and their grand weekend wedding was nothing short of fantastic.

With lavish nuptials spread across two different European cities, a rehearsal and bachelorette party and a grand reception, Kim-Kanye's big day was extravagant in the truest sense.

And while several T-town glitteratis flocked to Florence to attend the gala, the ones to give it a skip, despite being invited, were Kanye's best pal Jay Z and his pop-sensation wifey Beyonce.

While gossipmill was abuzz about a possible conflict between the two star couples, Queen Bey proved the naysayers wrong by extending her good wishes to the newlyweds. And seems, she had plenty of kind words to share for the bride and her groom.

 

On the day of their wedding, i.e. on May 24, Beyonce posted a pic of the newlywed's from their Vogue shoot with North and wrote, “Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family.”

But Beyonce and Jay Z aren't the only ones to ditch out on Kim and Kanye's nuptials. Kim's brother Rob Kardashian too bailed on the wedding and flew home on Friday night, a day prior to the wedding.

Reportedly, Rob was upset about media glare on his weight and a family feud later on Friday forced him to ditch the wedding festivities midway.
