Kannada glamour actress Pooja Gandhi, is reportedly escaping from police investigation after her car hit a woman in South Bengaluru's Jayanagar on Thursday evening.

The Dandupalya actress has showed care after hitting the woman named Varsha till admitting her in hospital. Pooja reportedly quietly slipped away after dropping her at the hospital. The victim is still in the ICU.

The family members of Varsha (50) lodged a complaint against the actress over her negligent driving. Police department is trying to investigate her, but the Abhinetri heroine is not available on phone and at her home.

According to Bangalore police, there is no clear identification of the driver of actress car, whether she drove or some other, if she co-operate with the police, the details can be available. The police will be issuing a notice to appear before them to record her statement.
