Don't let the summer heat affect your social life. Opt for the simple but look elegant, with a hot shade of lip colour. Summer means heat and humidity, so choose the right clothes. Read on to get the hot party look this summer.

Keep your look simple

If you have a day-time party start with a suncreen ( SPF 30 atleast). Apply light foundation that is oil-free or go for a BB/CC cream. Followed by eye shadow and mascara on the eyes. Go for a nourishing lipstic before heading out. Remember, the makeup should not feel heavy and has to blend well with your skin.

Take help of concealers

Avoid heavy foundation. You can use concealers for that flawless look. Opt for mineral-based makeup and keep it minimal.

Double cleansing

The skin needs daily cleansing to keep it free from dirt and dead cells. Make sure you remove all traces of makeup before sleeping at night. It's advisable to do a double cleansing in summers. Cleanse your face with a cleanser, followed by a mild face wash. This will help to unclog pores. But if you have oily skin don't overcleanse your face as it tends to make skin more oily.

Consult your dermatologist about antiperspirant. You can take help of lotions that contain aluminium chlorohydrate. But take expert advise first as it may cause skin irritation.

Create a flawless base on your skin with a concealer. Follow with a hydrating base, matching your skin tone.

Add colour to your cheeks by tinting it with some coral-toned or light-brown blush.

Highlight your cheeks, brow bone, as well as the inner corner of your eyes.

Use eye-shadow to enhance the appearance of your eyes.

Use smudge-proof kohl to define your eyes.

Make your eyes more appealing by curling your lashes and coating them with mascara
