Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple

Meenakshi Amman Temple is a historic Hindu temple located in Madurai, in Tamil Nadu. The Meenakshi temple is dedicated to Parvati, known as Meenakshi, and her consort, Shiva, also called Sundareswarar. During April and May, the temple holds a 10-day Meenakshi Tirukalyanam festival, that attracts 1 million visitors.
