Star India and Mumbai Indians player Rohit Sharma's involvement in Monday's match against the Gujarat Titans is uncertain, as the experienced cricketer is trying to recover after a hamstring injury sustained during the game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. A report indicates that Rohit is likely to arrive early at Narendra Modi Stadium with the team to check on his fitness. However, since hamstring injuries typically require at least eight days to heal, his likelihood of playing on Monday seems low. Rohit had to leave the field after feeling pain in his hamstring during last Sunday's game against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He was absent from the next match against the Punjab Kings at Wankhede Stadium. During last week’s match, Rohit was on 19 when he noticed discomfort in his hamstring, causing him to limp and ultimately return to the bench.
For most of the game, Rohit seemed alright and took part in fielding for the entire innings against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. He began to limp while trying to take a leg bye after the fourth ball of the fifth over. He was able to secure a single on the next delivery and received some medical attention before the next over began. Despite this, Rohit looked uncomfortable when he faced the first ball again, and after defending the second, he exited the game. The season has started poorly for the Mumbai Indians. Although they broke a 13-year losing streak in their first match, they have now endured four consecutive defeats. For the Mumbai Indians, this season has not been favorable. Their campaign has struggled due to slow powerplay performances, an unreliable middle order, and a bowling squad that has lacked effectiveness.
