Motorola has introduced the Motorola Razr Fold and Motorola Edge 70 Fusion today at MWC 2026. The Motorola Razr Fold is Motorola's first foldable smartphone in a book design, equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor and a 6,000mAh battery. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and comes with a 5,200mAh battery. The Razr Fold offers an 8.1-inch internal display and a 6.6-inch outer screen. It includes a triple rear camera system with a primary 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA sensor. When open, the device is 4.6mm thick, while it measures 9.9mm when folded. The Motorola Razr Fold is set to be launched in various regions including Latin America, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific soon. In Europe, it will retail for EUR 1,999, which is about Rs. 2,14,200, and comes with the Moto Pen Ultra. It will be available in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White colors. The price for the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion has not yet been disclosed. It will also be available in select locations across Latin America, EMEA, and the Asia Pacific.

The Motorola Razr Fold supports dual SIM (physical SIM plus eSIM) and operates on Android 16 with My UX. It features a 6.6-inch LTPO pOLED cover display with a resolution of 1,080x2,520 pixels, a 21:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a maximum brightness of 6,000 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 3. Inside, it has an 8.1-inch LTPO pOLED screen with 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 6,200 nits, along with Ultra Thin Glass protection. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and paired with an Adreno A829 GPU, it can have up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. With the RAM Boost feature, users can enhance virtual memory by an additional 16GB. Motorola has promised up to seven updates for the Android OS and seven years of security patches for the device. In terms of cameras, the Motorola Razr Fold has a triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel 1/1.28-inch Sony LYTIA main sensor, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The cover screen has a 32-megapixel selfie camera, while the inside display has a 20-megapixel selfie camera. The camera systems are capable of recording video at resolutions up to 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps.

The Motorola Razr Fold is equipped with a fingerprint sensor located on the side for unlocking. It includes various sensors such as infrared sensors, proximity sensors, ambient light sensors, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an electronic compass, a SAR sensor, a barometer, a Hall sensor, and a multi-spectral camera assist sensor. The device has two stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology and three microphones. For connectivity, it supports 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 7, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou, NavIC, and has a USB Type-C port. The device has an IP49 rating for durability. The Motorola Razr Fold is powered by a 6,000mAh battery that supports 80W charging and 50W for wireless charging. Its dimensions are 160.05x73. 6x10. 04mm when it is closed and 144.47x160. 05x4. 7mm when opened. It weighs 243g. In addition to the regular model, Motorola has introduced a special edition of the Razr Fold named FIFA World Cup 26 Collection. This version features a design inspired by football, a textured dot pattern, and accents plated with 24K gold. It also has a matte finish and the number "26" displayed prominently.

The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen that boasts a 1.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and can reach brightness levels of up to 5200 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. This phone has a tough design rated IP69 +IP68 and meets MIL-STD-810H standards. It operates on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor. The back camera setup of the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 710 sensor with optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a macro lens that offers a 122-degree field of view. For taking selfies and video calls, it features a front camera of 32 megapixels. The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion comes with dual stereo speakers that support Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos. It is powered by a 5,200mAh battery that supports 68W charging.
