Vivo Y51 Pro 5G was introduced in India on Wednesday by the technology company based in China. This new smartphone from the Y-series will be accessible for buying in the country through an online shopping site and the company’s website. It will be available for sale in two different storage sizes and two color choices. The device features a dual rear camera system, with a main 50-megapixel camera. Additionally, it is driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 7000-series processor and comes with a 7,200mAh battery. There is also support for 44W quick charging. The phone comes with a 6.75-inch LCD screen that can refresh at a rate of up to 120Hz. The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is priced at ₹24,999 for the basic model, which includes 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Conversely, the high-end model with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for ₹27,999. The company is providing cashback up to ₹2,500 for buyers who order the phone before March 16.
The device will be available for purchase in India starting March 11 through Flipkart and the Vivo India online store. The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G is available in two colors: Festive Red and Noble Gold.
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G supports dual SIM and operates on Android 16 with OriginOS 6. It features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a resolution of 720x1,570 pixels, offering a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and 83 percent NTSC coverage. The back of the phone is made of composite plastic. The company assures that the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings, indicating it is resistant to dust and water. The device is powered by a 4nm octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo processor, which includes four high-performance cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.5GHz and four efficiency cores functioning at 2.0GHz. The new smartphone also has 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. In terms of photography, the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G has a dual rear camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture, alongside a secondary camera of 2 megapixels with an f/2.4 aperture. There is an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chats with an f/2.05 aperture. The phone is capable of recording videos in up to 4K resolution.
The Vivo Y51 Pro 5G contains a 7,200mAh battery that supports 44W wired quick charging. It is compatible with 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, has a USB Type-C port, and supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS for connectivity options. The device includes various sensors, such as an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, an e-compass, a gyroscope, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It has dimensions of 166.6x78. 4x8.39mm and weighs approximately 219g.
