A user on Weibo, a Chinese social media site, called Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) has provided information about a phone from an unnamed sub-series. Gizmochina has stated that the main specifications and characteristics relate to the rumored Redmi Note 16 series. However, neither the tipster nor the publication mentioned a specific model name.
The expected Redmi Note 16 series will allegedly have a 10,000mAh battery. If this information is correct, then this series could have a much larger battery than the current top model, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G, which was launched in India on January 29 with a 6,500mAh battery. Additionally, the Redmi Note 16 series is anticipated to have 100W wired fast charging and a main rear camera with 200 megapixels, similar to the Note 15 Pro+.
