Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address two election rallies in Jammu and Kashmir ahead of the second phase of Assembly elections.
The second phase of polling will take place on December 2.
Udhampur and Poonch assembly divisions will go to polls along with Gulabgarh, Reasi, Gool Arnas, Chenani, Ramnagar, Surankote, Mendhar in Jammu region and Karnah, Kupwara, Lolab, Handwara, Langate, Noorabad, Kulgam, Home-Shalibugh and Devsar in Kashmir Valley on December 2.
In the Kashmir Valley, the constituencies going to poll include Devsar, Noorabad, Homeshalibugh and Kulgam in Kulgam district and Handwara, Kupwara, Karnah, Lolab and Langate in Kupwara district.
According to the Bharatiya Janata Party sources,More than 40,000 people came to hear Modi in the mountainous Kishtwar town on November 22 before the first phase of Assembly elections on November 25, More than the previous is expected this time, heavy presence of people in today's rallies.
All the security agencies operating in Jammu and Kashmir, including Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are on high alert.
