The United Arab Emirates has informed its people to avoid the travel to India, following swine flu outrage. The UAE ministry for foreign affairs also advised its citizens who are in India to approach their embassy for travel guidance.
So far nearly 1240 people have lost their lives with the H1N1 influenza, and more than 23,000 people tested positive. The situation in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Maharashtra is showing the seriousness.
As the UAE’s 30% of the population are of Indian national, the ministry has taken the move. The transportation between UAE and India is high, as the Emirates Airline, Etihad Airways, Air Arabia and FlyDubai offer daily flights from the UAE cities to Indian cities.
