With the rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the state, the government of Telangana has been in talks about imposing restrictions in the state. All the neighboring states imposed lockdown on a regular basis from the past one week. After conducting a high-profile meeting with the officials, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) took a call on imposing the lockdown. A strict lockdown is announced from tomorrow and it will continue for ten days in the state. All the daily essentials will be available for public between 6 AM and 10 AM starting from tomorrow. The state would be in strict lockdown for the rest of the day.
All the activities will be permitted till 10 AM in the state. The government also invited global tenders to supply the vaccination doses for the people of the state. The final call about the extension of the lockdown will be taken considering the situations. On an average, the new cases of coronavirus reported in Telangana on a regular basis are close to 5000. GHMC limits witnessed more number of cases of coronavirus. The vaccination drive too is happening at a slow place and the government blamed the Centre. The High Court of Telangana slammed the government of Telangana to impose strict rules of lockdown considering the sudden rise in the new number of cases.
