The Central Bureau of Investigation has summoned Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on the irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi Excise Policy (2021-22), which is on the escalation of wholesale profit sales from 5% to 12%.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was alleged for handling over the GoM’s draft to his then secretary containing the recommendations. Sisodia called him to Kejriwal’s residence between March 15th ad 19th in 2021 regarding the GoM. According to national media, the copy was retrieved from Sisodia’s personal computer.CBI is going to question Kejriwal regarding the amendment made to the liquor policy. The investigation will be at his house under the lens on April 16th.
