During a rally in Salem, Tamil Nadu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the DMK and Congress of being two sides of the same coin, claiming that their alliance represents corruption and a single family's rule. He emphasized that when the country freed itself from the Congress, it progressed to 5G technology. However, in Tamil Nadu, the DMK is implementing its own version of 5G, which entails the fifth generation of one family controlling the state. PM Modi also criticized the DMK for their treatment of the late Jayalalithaa, asserting that this is their true nature.

Furthermore, PM Modi continued to criticize the INDIA bloc for Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's "Shakti" remark, stating that the opposition alliance has malicious intentions by openly declaring its desire to destroy it. He pointed out that the opposition alliance, which includes the Congress and the DMK, consistently insults Hinduism while avoiding criticism of any other religion. PM Modi argued that their statements against Hinduism are carefully calculated and intentional.

Referring to the power of women, Modi spoke about "shakti." He mentioned that the INDI alliance, consisting of the Congress and the DMK, has expressed their intention to eradicate this power. According to Modi, shakti represents the divine and is embodied by various deities in the state such as Mariamman, Madurai Meenakshiamman, and Kanchi Kamakshiamma. He also highlighted that national poet Subramania Bharathi worshipped mother India as 'Shakti.' Modi emphasized that Tamil Nadu will not tolerate those who seek to destroy shakti and proclaimed himself as a worshipper of shakti.
