India Reports 11,850 Fresh Coronavirus Cases November 13, 2021 15:28

A total number of 11,850 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in India. The total infection tally of coronavirus reached 3,44,26,036 and the active cases saw a huge decline. There are 1,36,308 active cases of coronavirus in India and this is the lowest in the last 274 days as per the reports coming from the Union Health Ministry. 555 new deaths are reported and the total fatalities reported in India due to coronavirus are 4,63,245. The situations are currently in extreme control and several experts said that the cases would continue in the near future. The active cases are 0.40 percent of the total caseload reported in the country. The national recovery rate of coronavirus is said to be 98.26 percent and the active caseload decreased by 1108 in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate is said to be 0.94 percent and the weekly positivity rate is said to be 1.05 percent. The total number of recoveries that are reported in the country in total are said to be 3,38,26,483 and the fatality rate increased by 1.35 percent. Kerala continued to report a high number of cases. 471 out of the 555 deaths are in Kerala. Maharashtra which was once the most impacted state due to coronavirus has recovered well. A total number of 14,306 new cases of coronavirus are reported in India in the last 24 hours in the country. The total number of reported cases in the country are 3,41,89,774. 18,762 people recovered in the last 24 hours in India and the total number of recoveries reached 3,35,67,367. With 443 new deaths reported, the total death tally in India climbed to 4,54,712. There are 1,67,695 active cases of coronavirus in India for now. Kerala continues to be on the top of the list and the state reported 8538 new cases in the last 24 hours and 71 deaths. Gurmeet Ram Rahim And Four Others Sentenced Life Imprisonment October 18, 2021 18:00

Dera Sacha Sauda Chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh along with four others have been sentenced life imprisonment in the murder case of his manager Ranjit Singh which took place twenty years ago. The court announced that Gurmeet Ram Rahim along with four others were convicted in the case and the sentence was announced today. The four other accused in the case are Krishan Lal, Jasbir Singh, Avtar Singh and Sabdil. A fine of Rs 31 lakhs was imposed by the court and Ram Rahim will pay the fine. Among the other convicts, Abdil will pay Rs 1.5 lakhs, Krishnan and Jasbir will pay Rs 1.25 lakhs and Avtar will pay Rs 75,000. Fifty percent of the fine will be given to the family members of Ranjit Singh. The sixth accused in this case died last year. The decision has been announced by a special CBI Court in Panchkula in Haryana. Gurmeet Ram Rahim is lodged in Rohtak's Sunaria Jail from 2017 after he was convicted in the rape of his two followers. Gurmeet Ram Rahim appeared through video conferencing considering the security reasons. The security is tightened in Sirsa and Panchkula after they predicted a possible violence in the region. Ranjit Singh who happened to be the manager of Gurmeet Ram Rahim was shot dead in 2002. Gurmeet Ram Rahim is already facing a jail sentence of 20 years for raping two of his disciples.

Manmohan Singh Admitted to AIIMS after he Complains of Weakness October 14, 2021 11:09

Indian former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has been unwell on Wednesday and he has been admitted to All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he complained of exhaustion and weakness. Manmohan Singh turned 89 last month and he has been undergoing treatment for fever from the past two days in his New Delhi residence. Manmohan Singh was kept under observation by a team of expert doctors and his health condition is said to be stable for now. Manmohan Singh contracted to coronavirus in April this year and he recovered completely after he was admitted to hospital. The office of Manmohan Singh said that he had no fever on Wednesday but he was uneasy and tired. Congress dismissed the rumors about his health and an official statement said that his health condition was completely stable. AICC Secretary Pranav Jha told "There are some unsubstantiated rumours with regards to former PM, Dr Manmohan Singh ji’s health. His condition is stable. He is undergoing routine treatment. We will share any updates as needed. We thank our friends in media for their concern". Man Arrested For Killing His Mother In New Delhi September 09, 2021 18:46

A man from New Delhi was arrested for allegedly killing his mother in the region of Mundka in the national capital region and he was on a run for seven days. 34-year-old Sandeep was caught for shooting his mother on September 1st after a heated argument and he was missing after the incident. Sandeep works as a driver and he was left unemployed in the recent months. He got addicted to alcohol and his mother warned him several times for his bad behavior. Sandeep lost his cool after his mother had a heated discussion with him on his return. Sandeep shot a bullet and it pierced through her throat. Sandeep fled from the spot after the incident and he never returned back. She was rushed to Action Balaji Hospital in West Delhi by her relatives. Pardeep, a relative of Sandeep's family rushed to the spot and he took her to the hospital. She passed away during the treatment in the hospital. Sandeep was finally traced and was arrested on September 7th after a chase and raids. He took more than 100 hideouts and was traced after looking into 150 CCTVs. More than 400 people were interrogated, told Parvinder Singh, the Deputy Commissioner of Police. Sandeep got married to Ritu in 2013 and the duo has a 5-year-old daughter. Sandeep is separated from his wife Ritu and she is staying with her parents for a long time. During the investigation, Sandeep said that he got addicted to alcohol. To prevent being traced, Sandeep discarded his phone. Two country-made firearms are seized from Sandeep's residence.

Several health experts have warned that the kids would be more impacted due to the third wave of coronavirus and they would get contracted with the deadly virus in huge numbers. The vaccination manufacturers of India have been conducting the trials and a clarity on the research is expected to be out in September. The clinical trials are in final stages but the production is yet to commence for the same. After the cases of coronavirus came down in India in large numbers, several state governments announced the reopening of schools in their states. More than eight states and union territories reopened the schools and some other states are keen to reopen them soon. Maintaining social distance in the schools is a major challenge for the authorities. With the process of vaccination for children delayed, several state governments are in plans to vaccinate the teachers along with the staff and the eligible students. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan announced the list of the states that are reopening from August 2nd. Some other schools are reopened from August 16th. The government of Punjab vaccinated 60 percent of the teaching and non-teaching staff with at least one dose. Even the parents are quite interested to send their kids to school as per the recent surveys. Karnataka government made it mandatory for the teachers to take the vaccination before the schools reopen on August 23rd. The government of Maharashtra too allocated an ample number of doses for the teachers but the schools are yet to reopen. The Ministry of Education also kept a close watch on the vaccination of the teachers across all the states.
