Is Salman Khan contemplating an alternate career? Well, at least that's what the grapevine suggests.

Not that he is planning to quit acting, but rather dabble with another aspect of filmmaking - music.

That's right! The superstar of Bollywood, buoyed by the chartbursting success of his “Hangover”, has decided to croon again, this time for a single.

Sallu bhai, who had recorded three songs for “Kick”, will be recording a single soon, says a little birdie.

“Salman is very serious about his singing plans; he is planning to launch his own single. He will be associated with the best music label or he’ll do it on his own. It will be done on a grand scale and the only hitch is that he isn’t completely sure yet if it should be a single or an entire album,” confirms a source.
