Sonam Kapoor awarded “The Trendsetter of The Year” at The Filmfare Glamour & Style Awards 2015. The KoobhSurat actress also bagged Most Stylish Star (Female) from the same platform.

She literally became the icon of new fashion and trend across the world with her sense of dressing and her appearances at international events like Cannes Film Festival.

On accepting the award, the trendsetter said, “It’s important to be yourself and your clothes are just an expression of who you are. Everyone has an individual voice , so to me having an individual sense of style is very important. I’m really excited with the award and to receive it from Madhuri Dixit was an iconic moment for me”.
