Fans of Akshay Kumar will be happy to know that his next movie is based on the Hollywood movie‘Argo’. Akki will be teeming up with Neeraj Pandey, of 'Special 26' fame, for this untitled project.

The film is reportedly based on Ben Affleck's political thriller 'Argo'. Directed by Ben Affleck, 'Argo' won an Academy Award for Best Picture.

After the success of 'Special 26' Neeraj Pandey was keen to make another thriller with Akshay Kumar. 'Special 26' was critically acclaimed and also garnered good revenue at the box office.

Neeraj Pandey and Akshay Kumar have finally come together for another thriller. According to reports, shooting for the untitled project has already begun.

A source reports that actress Taapsee Pannu has already been finalized by the director to play the lead heroin in the film.

The filmmakers have set a target of January release next year.
