Ola Electric has introduced the sportiest version of its S1 electric scooter, named the S1 Pro Sport. This electric scooter is available starting at a price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and features an enhanced design compared to the original model. Additionally, it includes the company’s new 4680-type battery, which is said to provide faster charging, greater energy efficiency, and lower production costs.

Starting with its look, the Ola S1 Pro Sport has design modifications compared to the standard version. Firstly, the electric scooter features a newly redesigned front section with the brand’s logo centered above the camera, which will be used for advanced driver assistance system features like collision detection. To support this feature, the scooter utilizes MoveOS 6.

Moreover, the scooter showcases a new seat design along with a carbon fiber front fender. It also features a carbon fiber grab handle and a new aerodynamic windshield. The new model is equipped with 14-inch wheels. The Ola S1 Pro Sport has a powertrain that includes a locally made ferrite electric motor, delivering a peak power of 16 kW and a peak torque of 71 Nm. This motor, which is designed and developed by the company itself, reduces the need for imported rare earth materials for its magnets. The scooter is fitted with a 5.2 kWh battery pack that uses the new 4680 cells, which, along with the improved motor, allows it to reach a top speed of 152 km/h, accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2 seconds, and claims an IDC range of 320 km.
