A preview of Angelina Jolie's upcoming movie 'Unbroken' was released on Sunday to Olympics viewers. The first look of the film was aired during NBC's coverage of the Sochi Olympics. 

'Unbroken' is Jolie's second venture as a director after In the Land of Blood and Honey released in 2011. 'Unbroken' is slated for release on Christmas day.

The film revolves around Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini who survived a plane crash and as a prisoner of war in Japan. The character of Zamperini is portrayed by Jack O'Connell.

Narrated by Tom Brokaw, the movie's focuses on the survival of Zamperini in a fatal plane crash during World War II, when they survived 47 days in a raft. They were found by Japanese Navy and subsequently sent to a prisoner-of-war camp.

The film features Jack O'Connell, Finn Wittrock, Domhnall Gleeson, John Magaro,Garrett Hedlund, Alex Russell, and Miyavi, the Japanese actor. 'Unbroken' is an adapted version of Laura Hillenbrand's book.
