2014 MTV VMA award just got hotter!
Buzz is Queen Bey, back from her "On The Run" concert, will perform live at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Whoa! But that isn't all.
She will also be bestowed the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award for the year. With this, she will join the likes of the Beastie Boys, Peter Gabriel, Madonna, Michael Jackson, R.E.M., Red Hot Chili Peppers, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. But wait, there is more!
The “Flawless” singer is also up for eight Moonmen this year, more than any other artist or band.
First in line is "Drunk in Love (feat. Jay Z)" that is up for Video of the Year and Best Collaboration.
Her "Partition," meanwhile, is in the running for Best Female Video and Best Choreography and "Pretty Hurts" has been nominated for Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Best Video With a Social Message.
This will be Beyonce's fifth performance in MTV's annual event. She made her event debut in 2003 where she rocked the show with "Baby Boy/Crazy in Love". She performed on "Ring the Alarm" in 2006, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" in 2009 and "Love on Top" in 2011.
Beyonce has earned seven nominations as a member of Destiny's Child, and 35 nominations single in VMA yet. She bagged 11 Moonmen, including Video of the Year in 2009 for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)."
That said, Beyoncé won't be the only musician to rock the stage. She will be joined by Ariana Grande (feat. Zedd), Maroon 5,Taylor Swift and Usher.
The MTV Video Music Awards will air live on Aug. 24 at 9 p.m. ET.
