Drew Goddard is all set to direct 'Sinister Six', the spider-man spinoff. Negotiations are at the final stage to take him onboard for the project.

Goddard is also writing the script for the project.

He was hired by Sony in December to write the script for the movie. At that time there were plans to tap him for helming the movie as well. It seems the plans are falling into place.

The focus of 'Sinister Six' would be on the villains in the Spider-Man universe.

The 'Sinister Six' will feature Kraven the Hunter, Sandman, Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Electro and Mysterio.
