Fans of the X-men saga who have been eagerly waiting for the next instalment from the franchisee can heave a sigh of relief. The shooting for ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ will start next year, in April. The film makers will stick to a familiar setting for the film.
The film will be shot in April 2015, at the Mel's Cite du Cinema in Montreal. The last instalment ‘X-Men: Days of Future Past’ had been shot at the same location, according to reports. The re-construction of the set will start this December.
Bryan Singer will return as director for the eighth installment of the X-Men.
The story of this film will be centred on the mutant forefather, En Sabah Nur. He returns with an evil plan to plunge the world into an apocalypse and ensure his supremacy.
Actors Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Evan Peters and Nicholas Hoult are likely to reprise their previous roles.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ is expected to release on May 27, 2016.
