Ever heard of sandwich theft in office and a ransome to return the same? Well thats exactly what happened in this office. The thief communicated the ransom through a series of notes.

The funny incident started when one colleague found his/her favourite sandwiches (turkey and Swiss with mayo on rye) missing. The person wrote a desperate note asking thief to stop stealing.

"This is ridiculous.. please take responsibility for your actions and stop stealing other people's property," it read. The victim apparently thought that after reading the note the sandwich theif will owe up the crime. But contrary to what the sandwich victim thought the note resulted in a series of funny notes.

The thief wrote back to the victim, demanding a ransom. Seriously! Thats what really happened. The perpetrator's note read: "I have your precious sandwich, it's safe. For now. Put 10 dollars on the plate in the fridge or you'll never see it undigested again."

The distraught victim wrote another note saying : "Grow-up...this is unprofessional". He even threatened to contact the HR department in case he doesn't get his sandwich back.

But the thief didn't relent. And to hurt the victim a little more, the thief now attached a picture of the sandwich with the message that for every delayed hour a piece of it would be eaten.

But the thief had become bold now and wanted to trade the sandwich for a pizza. What did the HR do next?
