Barbarella Buchner was in news after celebrating 10-year anniversary after marrying her two pet cats Spider and Lugosi. On January 9th, 2004, Buchner married her two cats. She has registration proof also.
She'd adopted the pair from a London animal shelter in 2000. After a breakup with a long-term human companion, in 2004 Buchner felt that kitties were her "soul mates." And said "They're the loves of my life,"
Buchner told the media person that she never had sex with her animal partners, while answering a question. She also said that marriage does not imply sexual relation. And to a straight question about the sex with others in these 10 years, she said that she had never came across the physical relationship with other human being and also said that “if the universe has got something in store for me, then I'll find out soon enough!”
She said on her marriage procedure, “It it was all done online. No ceremony, no wacky outfits," and "I did, however, tell Lugosi and Spider before marrying them, that I was going to do it. Bribed with a tin of tuna, they didn't object."
Buchner said that the cats are not only her husband they are everything for her like children, friends, etc.
