Former South African cricket player Jonty Rhodes has named her new born daughter 'India Jeanne Jonty Rhodes', which is wondering many. Melanie Jeanee, wife of Rhodes, has delivered a healthy baby through water birth method at a Santa Cruz hospital on Thursday afternoon.

The reason behind naming his new born baby as India is not known, but most of the Indians are feeling happy with his decision. Baby girl was 3.71 kg at the time of birth, according to the Surya Mother and Child Care hospital at Santa Cruz, Mumbai.

The option of water birth works efficiently for both the mother and baby, which creates calm and peaceful atmosphere for relieving from pain during the labor. The method generally opted in western countries, but Indians are literally away from this beneficial method over the concerns of hygenity and poor monitoring.

But, the younger generation is leaning towards this method in high-end hospitals, where care is guaranteed.
