The Hubble Space Telescope which was made in collaboration of ESA (European Space Agency) and NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) completes its 25years, this year.

The space telescope was launched into Earth orbit in 1990 and is still in operation. Design on the telescope began in 1978.

Since the launch, the Hubble has made nearly 137,000 trips around the Earth and has captured data and images of more than 38,000 objects in space. Those data have led to rewriting of astronomy textbooks and to NASA calling Hubble the "most significant advance in astronomy since Galileo's telescope".

Even after the completion, there was an issue with the mirror, OTA mirror due to which the image received were blurred. Finally, they had to be replaced with

Corrective Optics Space Telescopic Axial Replacement, designed by Ball Aerospace.

Since then, the Ball Aerospace has been creating new instruments for upgrading the Hubble Telescope.
